The participants of Camden’s successful attempt for the World Record for the longest continuous game of bowls are getting together at the Sports Club this Saturday afternoon the 14th November to celebrate their achievement with a few beers and a social roll up.
Ben Cummins, Todd Heyward, Steve Laker, Ivor Watkiss, Liam Garrett and Steve Van Waart will be in the club around 4:00pm so if you see them give them a pat on the back and buy ’em a beer.
Congratulations to all those who competed in the Auld and Durrington Shields this year.
Well done boys on beating “the Mob across the Road” in both competitions and returning the trophies to Camden Bowling Club.

STDBA Juniors take on the might of ACT Juniors this Sunday 16th August at Camden Bowling Club. They are playing three games of 8 ends. Two before lunch and one after lunch. This promises to be a cracking competition with the cream of Junior bowls on display.
