In September, playing in the Zone 5 President Singles Sam Dukes representing Camden Bowling Club was Runner Up. Playing against bowlers of a greater age it was a great effort. Congratulations Sam.

Camden Junior Singles Championship
On Sunday 11th October 2015 the Camden Junior Singles Championships were conducted and it was pleasing to see the high standard of bowls played.
The Championships were round robin with the final to be played by Sam Dukes and Tyler Murphy. As it is hoped in all finals with Sam winning on the last end with the last bowl. 12 – 10. A great game of bowls by both boys.
NSW Junior 7-A-Side Championships

Sam Dukes, representing Zone 5, has followed up his success at the recent CHS Fours Championships in Armidale with another Bronze Medal at the NSW Bowls Junior 7-A-Side Championships held at the Fig Tree Bowling Club this weekend. Sam’s teams only defeat was against the very strong team, Zone 16 from Warilla who were the winners of the Championships.
I wish to congratulate Sam on his efforts at Fig Tree.

CHS State Fours report
Sam Dukes & Mia Hotson have been competing this week in the CHS State Four’s Championships held at a very cold Armidale Bowling Club. From all reports both have bowled very well with the following results: Sam’s team finished third, Mia’s team tenth out of twenty teams from around the state; South West Region finished in fifth place. A great result for the kids from our club.

Two reps in the CHS State Championships
Two of the juniors have been selected in the CHS South West Regional fours team to compete in the CHS State championship to be held in Armidale from 7th to 9th August 2015. If you see Sam Duke & Mia Hotson around the Club could you wish them both well in the Tournament.
