Camden Coaches have organised a coaching clinic to take place at Camden on Sunday the 23rd November from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. There is a session in the morning that has been organised for District juniors and coaches but we have also organised a clinic in the afternoon for those that may be interested. The clinic will be run by Karen Murphy. For those that may not be aware of who Karen is, Karen would be one of the most prominent bowlers in Australia’s lawn bowling history. Karen has far too many titles to list here but by all reports her clinics are well worth attending.
Unfortunately the clinic is limited to only 12 to 14 people. So it is first in best dressed. The cost is $32 per person. This would have to be paid on acceptance of your email. You can be assured that I will take first in, first, although my wife has already booked a spot. (Not game to say no) So there are only 11 to 13 spots left. I will take phone calls up to 8:30 pm of a night.
I am certain it would be $32 well spent if you want to improve your bowls. If not you get to have a coaching lesson by one of the world’s best on our own greens.

The clinics are both going ahead on the 23rd November. This should be a great day with a world champion visiting our club and imparting her bowling knowledge for those attending. Really looking forward to it.
Personally it was great to meet and talk to Karen Murphy, current world champion, about her thoughts on bowls and her approach to the game. All that attended, especially the junior enjoyed the day. Apart from the scorching heat. But being the professional Karen is there was no sign of a drop of sweat while all others nearly melted. Great day and well worth the expense. Working on our next visitation. Any ideas out there. Disappointing that some had a go about not knowing about it. What can you do??
